RosettaNet Standards & Partner Interface Process (PIP)
RosettaNet standards, also referred to as Partner Interface Process (PIP), are developed by users for users. RosettaNet messages are global, universally accepted, and proven through successful implementations. RosettaNet standards provide a common language for electronic business transactions and the foundation for integrating critical processes among partners within the global trading network.
RosettaNet standards allow trading partners to improve communication with each other as well as offer more collaboration with the exchange of business information electronically. In particular, supply chain companies are able to facilitate speed, efficiency, and reliability, while reducing company costs. Through RosettaNet standards, these trading partners are able to realize gains associated with reducing inventory, improving order-processing time and customer satisfaction with regard to product cycle time-to-market.
RosettaNet standards and messages leverage existing protocols, guidelines, and specifications to create standards for business communication across multiple platforms, applications, and networks to achieve efficient, collaborative commerce.
